STARLA MARIE DARLING
she was the girl who loved too hard
and cared too much, all while being scared to becoming attached to someone romantically.
overall, Starla was an often happy, bubbly girl. short for her age, but filled with fire and the brightest glimmer in her eyes.
she ws her mother's little star.
hii lovelies, this is mermaid, you may call me star if you'd like because i quite enjoy looking at the stars ^-^
that sounds adorably funny now being as this character's name is inspired by the stars.. <3
on with the introduction, i am a 23 y.o smol female writer, she/her/hers.
i may be straight irl but i'd like for it to be aware that this a safe place for everyone [ minors included, i don't mind writing with minors i just will not ship my character w characters written by minor writers for obvious reasons ] as i support & adore the lgbtq+ community full heartedly y'all precious beans, my little starla bean is written as pansexual !! ^-^
i like anime, and all things disney.
truthfully, i'm not the most confident writer however i try my best to mirror my writing style w whomever i am writing with in description & literacy.
lastly, i'm a very open minded person but i so strongly dislike drama of any sorts.. so if by chance there are problematic writers i'm following/interacting with that i am not aware of, or perhaps there's an issue and i've done something wrong, so kindly private message me !! respectfully i would rather be informed so that i may fix the situation rather than be indirected or softblocked.. with that said, i come here to write and escape the real world chaos and have fun. much love <3

Starla Darling
“Though she be but little,
she is fierce.” - William Shakespeare
little Starla Marie Darling is the daughter of Wendy Darling and Edward.
her name inspired by the stargazing her mother did as a child from looking out her balcony window daily growing up.
Starla grew up with the stories of her mother’s childhood, and her adventures and of course.. of the boy she first loved, Peter Pan.
there was never a day that past by, where the thought of Neverland and it’s beauty, and endless daydreaming of going there crossed Starla’s mind. she even had a notebook filled of sketches of what she believed Neverland would look like..
she was also just a terrible daydreamer. classmates teased her often for how easy it was for her to tell stories like it were nothing, or talk about fairytales like they were real. no one ever understood her but her mother of course, she also knew the
truth, even if she would be forgetful at times and claim her Neverland adventures were all just dreams.. Starla saw in her mother’s eyes that she remembered perfectly.
mother just acted forgetful the rare times her father was around.. but even her forgetfulness didn’t discourage the daydreamer in Starla.
now at sixteen, Starla was an idealist, a little adventurer much like her mother. a young girl who always sees the good in people even if they’re “labeled” by others as “bad” or being the “villain” Starla simply saw them as misunderstood. she saw, she heard, and she listened. she understood how and why they became who they are and she wanted to help. people thought she was crazy for it— and perhaps she “was” but her mother, as well as herself just said it was because of her big heart.
Starla often cared more for others than she did of herself. even put other’s needs above her own. that was just how kind hearted she was.. exactly how kind hearted she is. and yet again, other young teens teased her for her kindness. which did cause her to have her brief sarcastic moments but again, those moment were brief and rare as she chose more so to neglect those who tried to put her down in any way. those who tried to hurt her because of how short she was, and etc. she didn’t care.
and they never once fazed her.
